Summer has arrived and I really have been hankering for some rest and relaxation. The summer season is really the time to commune with nature and get one with Mother Earth, if you get my drift. The kids has also been requesting for at least one summer getaway before school starts again in June and well, that’s just over a month from now, so I’ve really been thinking of where to go and what to do to let the kids enjoy their summer while I get me a relaxing day on the beach perhaps. And well, my birthday is coming up and it might be nice to go for a short summer vacation, a beautiful beach to enjoy the sand and surf so to speak. A friend suggested we go to Calaguas Island in Camarines Norte, the place is untouched by human hands, so it’s a very good place to feel one with nature. I think we’ll take that trip next weekend. It will be a treat to see the kids cope with beach camping, I sure hope they enjoy it as much as I know I will.
