Melissa George or Melissa Suzanne George was born on August 6, 1976 at Perth, Western Australia. She started her career in showbiz as a young model and got lucky when she was named as the Western Australia’s Teenage Model of the Year in 1992. She was 16 when a casting agent discovered her and was given a role on the popular Australian soap “Home and Away.” She got the role of Angel Parrish. Melissa George also posed nude in celebrity photo magazine Black + White and was also featured in Australian Playboy magazine.
Do you know that Melissa George was a former Australian National Champion in rollerskating? She won bronze medals in the National Championships in 1989 and 1990 and a silver medal at the Junior World Championship in 1991.
Today, I’ve read on The Insider that Melissa George is leaving the “Grey’s Anatomy” where she portrayed the role of Dr. Sadie Harris. Her first appearance was in episode 7 of Grey’s Anatomy’s Season 5 was aired last November 13, 2008 with the title “These Ties That Bind”
