Nightmare on Elm Street Remake
A Nightmare on Elm Street is an American horror film and the first film of the “A Nightmare on Elm Street” franchise which was released on 1984. This movie is directed and written by Wes Craven. Starring John Saxon, Heather Langenkamp, Ronee Blakley, Amanda Wyss, Jsu Garcia, Robert Englund and Johnny Depp in his feature film debut. The story goes on several teenagers being terrified in their nightmares by the ghost of a serial child murderer named Fred Krueger. This movie was set in the fictional Midwestern town of Springwood, Ohio.

The film is written by Eric Heisserer and Wesley Strick, directed by Samuel Bayer, and produced by Michael Bay, Andrew Form, and Brad Fuller. Nightmare on the Elm Street remake 2010 stars Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger, a character made famous by Robert Englund, while Rooney Mara accepts the role of Nancy Thompson which was originally portrayed by Heather Langenkamp.
