New Volkswagen Golf GTI for 2009

I love cars and I have to confess that I have always been a big fan of the hatchback series of Volkswagen. I got even more excited when I found out that Volkswagen is about to launch the new Golf GTI Volkswagen this May 22, 2009. What a perfect timing for my birthday! Why am I blogging about this? I am just hoping that my father would accidentally bump into this post and get an idea on what I really want for a birthday present.

It’s been 6 years since I asked for birthday gift from him, and he bought me a 2nd hand 4-door sedan which apparently turned into a family car. Now that I’ve reached the right age, I want a car that I could call my own and having a Volkswagen Golf GTI would be awesome!
I know it’s too much to ask, most especially with the ongoing recession and everyone would probably say that it’s not a practical thing to spend money on luxury but if one can afford it then why not?

The new Volkswagen Golf GTI has great features such as dual clutch gear box that allows direct shift gearing (DSG) and powered higher fuel efficiency. Buying one would actually be more practical than spending too much money on your old car’s maintenance. Aside from that, I think it is the best looking Golf Gti that I’ve seen so far and it only costs £22,410 for three-door model and rise to £22,995 for the five-door model.
