when you’re truly in love
Relationships aren’t prisons
Not even for a while.
Love isn’t a trap
And no one who says they love you should make you feel like crap.
No one deserves to be beat
or forced to kiss someone’s feet.
Love should be caring and leave you feel like flying.
When a man or woman loves you and you are crying
They should be willing to move the planets for you to cease.
When you love someone although problems will never stop
You both should be willing to give and take so that they will decrease.
No love is the same
so don’t look at how others love grows.
Because when you’re truly in love, you will be the one who first truly knows.

awesome poem. full of emotion. kaya lang medyo malungkot hehe. the abuser doesnt deserve the writer of the poem. so sad people resort to violence. That’s not love at all.

Love is a wonderful thing. And when it becomes an excuse for someone taking control over someone else, then it isn’t really love. However, sometimes it’s difficult to know where love ends and abuse begins because many people find it difficult to give up on the current relationship.

I would also like to add that love changes with time. The love you feel as a newly wedded and the love you feel at your 50th anniversary is different. The former there is the love of future possibilities, and the latter there is the love of shared history. Once you have that kind of love, it is hard to settle for anything less.

This poem is so true, it describes love in so many different ways. because I guess that’s how love is, it can be felt and shown in different ways.
