drug treatments

When I was in college, I had a friend who become a drug addict. She could not accept that her parents were planning to get separated. She was the eldest among three siblings. She used to sleep over in our dorm just to stay away from her family. She was so depressed and very sensitive that time. I asked her if she could consult one of our professor who was also a psychiatrist and she agreed to do so.

After a series of counseling, the doctor advised her to have a vacation as well as to undergo drug treatment. She went to her grandmother in their province in Cagayan Valley and stayed there for almost 2 months. She continued her drug treatment there and it was really a great help because her grandmother told me that she can already sleep at night without having any nightmares or not waking up crying. After her treatment, she enrolled again for our internship and I was very happy for her fast recovery.
