positive side of spam comments???

1 August 2007 No Comment |

I’ve noticed that I am receiving a lot of spam comments. Thanks to Akismet’s anti spam! Is it ok to edit those spam comments, and change the comments to whatever message that I like? IP has been recorded right? so still, even if I will change the original content of the comment, the original IP of the person who leaved the comment will still remain.

To those techie guys out there please inform me if the idea is ok. All comments will be accepted.. :P
/updated/

while trying to de-spam another comment, I’ve noticed this message below the Akismet Spam Section:

Comments you de-spam will be submitted to Akismet as mistakes so it can learn and get better.

Hmm… Nevermind… Akismet will suffer so I’ve decided not to de-spam those comments.

I’m a housewife and looking for credit cards with rewards. My nephew recommended a credit web site, I’m afraid it’s unsafe. Is there anybody who knows about?

Interesting concept. I just let them go to the bin. I also use the http:bl plugin from projecthoneypot.org to prevent some - and then I have a deny file that blocks certain ips from accessing the site.

Matt Ellsworth’s last blog post..I’m attending the Ross Goldberg’s Masters Internet Marketing Seminar Are You?
