in the memory of richard…

Last thursday I received a text message from my mother telling me that Richard was already dead. (Richard – used to be a friend of mine when I still own a computer shop 3 years ago) He died from a car accident. I remembered those days when I used to play Ragnarok. We became friends when one day he found out that I was using Kore (a well known bot for Ragnarok). He asked me how to use it and because he was a regular customer of mine, I gave him a copy. To make the story short, we became friends. Sometimes he used to visit me even my computer shop was already close just to share some tips on how to level up more easily.

I also remembered that he used to help me when there were days that I can’t manage to accommodate some customers because I was the only one who was supervising it.

He was a good guy. There came a point that we had a conflict when I announced that my parents planned to sell the the computer shop because at that time I have something to do and no one was able to manage it. He was interested in buying it but his parents’ offer was too low than the other buyer. Of course I was not the one who will decide for that matter. In short it has been sold to other person. I still remember his last day in my computer shop. He quietly entered. His face was so sad. He just sit beside me like he used to but at that time he was just there without saying any word for almost 20 minutes. I know he was very disappointed. I know… I can’t say any word… I didn’t know what to say… We were so quiet. Later on he looked at me, stood up and finally said goodbye… He walked away just like that…

Tears came falling that I have to run to the restroom because I didn’t want his other friends to see me crying. They all know what happened. He used to be a friend…. a good friend… He was too young to die… But that’s life!

To you Richard… I know wherever you are right now…. I know you always have those smile just like the first time that I saw you…
